VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) is a service that allows users to remotely access a variety of software programs provided by the college.  We use the VMWare VDI system, available at vdi.newpaltz.edu.

	- VDI works with PC and Mac platforms, as well as with Apple (iOS) and Android mobile devices.
- Users can work anytime and anywhere they have an internet connection. 
- Users can remotely access specialized application software available in the computer labs.

Request Process
	- Authorized users have access to VDI with their New Paltz username and password.
User Responsibility
	- The user must install the appropriate VDI program or app on their computer or device.

Requirements and Prerequisite
	- You are free to install the VDI program/app on any personal computer(s) or device(s).
- Some VDI sessions may limit the number of users who can log in at one time.
