Computer Labs

• Open Labs are computer labs that are not normally scheduled for classes and provide access to general software.
• Department Labs are computer labs that are scheduled for classes and provide access to general software as well as discipline specific software.

• Linux Accounts provides access our Linux-based Workstations, servers and other services.

Online Resources

• Brightspace is our learning management system on campus. This provides a place for instructors to electronically distribute and collect course materials, keep grades, and give tests.

• Hawksites is our campus' customized version of Word Press for personal websites and blogs.

• Microsoft 365 provides access to the on and offline version of Microsoft Office.

Remote Learning

• Brightspace Quickstart for Students (This orientation is a deep link to a Brightspace Course. You must be logged into Brightspace before clicking this link). New Paltz offers an online learning platform, Brightspace, as well as a number of useful instructional technology tools for you to use in your online learning experience.

On-Campus Students

• Residence Hall Labs are computer labs that provide access to general software only for the residents of that specific hall.

Loaner Equipment

• STL Library has iPad Loaners.
• STL Library has Laptop Loaners.

Auditors

• Auditors have access to limited services.
